A car offers a number of safety features that help to minimise the amount of damage one sustains during a car accident. Cars have seat belts installed that keep the driver and passengers from being bounced around freely in the vehicle if there is an accident. Seat belts also keep the passengers from being ejected from the vehicle. It is a great idea to work yourself into driving gradually. Perhaps you could get a friend or family member that has a few years of driving under their belt to sit with you for the first couple of road excursions. Make sure that you dont plan any long, gruelling cross country trips straight away. We all love to drive, full stop! Whether it’s to the shops, visit friends, quite country drives or off to work.
Having said that it becomes easier to be complacent and forgetful of other road users and so often what
turns out to be a simple drive to a destination can turn into a devastating accident which, in fact, could
